Gibbs Textiles, Inc. was founded by Mr. Jimmy Gibbs in 1972 supplying primarily replacement parts and accessories for the weaving industry. Gibbs International, Inc., the successor to Gibbs Textiles, Inc. and Gibbs Machinery, Inc., has grown to a worldwide organization. Gibbs International, Inc. is now one of the foremost companies in the world dealing in pre-owned textile machines and complete plants of all kinds. Gibbs has purchased, then resold or liquidated, more than 2000 complete textile plants.
